Four Common Fireproof Clothes and Their Characteristics

1. Silicone rubber coating
Silicone rubber coated glass fiber cloth is a high-performance and multi-purpose
composite material new product made of high-temperature resistant, anti-corrosion,
and high-strength glass fiber cloth, which is pressed or impregnated with organic
silicone rubber.
Performance:
a. Used between low temperature -70 ℃ and high temperature 230 ℃
b. Has high insulation performance, dielectric constant 3-3.2, breakdown voltage
20-50KV/MM
c. Durable to ozone, oxygen, light, and climate aging, with excellent weather
resistance for outdoor use, and a lifespan of up to 10 years
Main use:
(1) It can be used as a fireproof curtain.
(2) Electrical insulation: Silicone cloth has a high level of electrical insulation
and can withstand high voltage loads. It can be made into insulation cloth, sleeves
and other products.
(3) Non metal compensator: silicone tape can be used as flexible connecting device
of pipes, which can solve the damage of heat expansion and cold contraction to pipes.
Silicone tape has high temperature resistance, anti-corrosion, anti-aging
performance, good elasticity and flexibility, and can be widely used in petroleum,
chemical, cement, energy and other fields.
(4) In terms of anti-corrosion: Silicone rubber coated fiberglass cloth can be used
as an internal and external anti-corrosion layer for pipelines, with excellent
anti-corrosion performance and high strength, making it an ideal anti-corrosion
material.
(5) Other fields: Silicone rubber coated glass fiber membrane structural materials
can be applied in building sealing materials, high-temperature anti-corrosion
conveyor belts, packaging materials and other fields.
Performance: a. Long term working temperature: 1000 ℃, maximum fire resistance: 1300 ℃, product
characteristics:
b. High temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance,
and low heat capacity;
c. Excellent high-temperature insulation performance, high tensile strength, and
long service life;
d. Has the ability to resist corrosion of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and
zinc by melting contact;
e. Has good bottom temperature and high temperature strength;
f. Non toxic, harmless, and has no adverse effects on the environment;
g. Convenient construction and installation;
Application scope:
(1) Building materials fire protection decoration and fire partition lining;
(2) Various kilns, high-temperature pipelines, and containers are insulated and
insulated;
(3) Furnace doors, valves, flange seals, fire doors and fire rolling shutter
materials, high-temperature furnace door sensitive curtain curtains;
(4) Insulation of automobile exhaust pipes, engines, and instruments;
(5) Welding, electric furnace, and safety protection against sparks, molten iron,
and steel splashes in front of the steelmaking furnace.
(6) Fireproof cable wrapping materials, high-temperature fire-resistant materials;
(7) Thermal insulation covering fabric, high-temperature expansion joint filler,
and flue lining;
(8) High temperature resistant labor protection products, fire-resistant clothing,
high-temperature filtration, sound absorption, and other alternative asbestos
applications.
3. Basalt
Basalt fiber fireproof cloth is made of GBF 7-9 μ It is woven from continuous basalt
fiber fine yarn, including plain and satin fabrics, and treated with a high
temperature resistant and non-toxic coating. It is used as the best fire-resistant
material for lining fire-resistant protective clothing, flame-retardant,
heat-insulating fabrics, and fire-resistant curtains. Due to its advantages such
as non flammability, high temperature resistance, no toxic gas discharge, good
insulation, no melting or dripping, high strength, and no thermal shrinkage, it is
a powerful alternative to aramid fire-resistant fibers such as Kavlar, Nomex, and
Teflon.
Product application:
Protective equipment suitable for on-site welding and gas cutting in the
shipbuilding industry, large steel structures, and power maintenance. Ventilation,
fire prevention, and protective equipment for textile, chemical, metallurgical,
theater, military, and other industries. Fire helmets and neck protection fabrics.
Basalt fiber fireproof cloth is a non combustible material that does not deform,
burst, and has a fire resistance of more than 1 hour under the action of a 1000 ℃
flame. It can provide protection in environments with humidity, steam, smoke, andchemical gases. It is also suitable for fire protection clothing, fire curtains,
fire blankets, fire bags, welding, fire cloth fences, etc.
4. Acrylic fiber
Acrylic fiber fireproof fabric is a fabric processed using a special fiber process
Material: Made of special fire-resistant fiber cloth through special processing.
Features: Extinguish fire sources and prevent sparks from splashing.
Usage:
Can be placed in kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, hospitals, hotels and other places
for emergency extinguishing of fire sources and quick evacuation; And used for
covering and isolating flammable and explosive materials around construction sites
such as gas welding and gas cutting.
